What am I doing here?

What makes music exciting and pleasurable for me is that as a solo artist, modern recording techniques allow me to dabble in just about any genre. And while I still perform as a solo acoustic musician, I can't resist dusting off my old Moog synthesizer and taking off in just about any direction. That's why I call my repertoire "Music for the Open Mind". So, take your pick. Old Timey, Folk, Progressive/Psychedelic. Instrumentals, songs, even a little bit of spoken word. Its all music to me and I hope you see it the same way.

Once I get my store set up, you'll be able to buy tunes from me here, and the funds will go to the Three Rivers Avian Center, a non-profit facility where my wife and I work. You see, while I've been kicking around the West Virginia music scene for more that 30 years, caring for wild birds has become a passion for us. As wild bird rehabilitators and environmental educators, we keep busy with educational programs in schools and elsewhere as well as caring for injured and orphaned wild birds - from humming birds to eagles. So this limits how much time I can devote to playing out. So I have opened up this site here on the web where I can exercise my musical ego a little and help out the Three Rivers Avian Center a little bit as well. Please feel free to visit us there at http://tracwv.org
